EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Deep Shit - Hector + No No Mr Greenspan
The mecha-fi music of Deep Shit floats like a butterfly, stings like a metal wasp, guitars rasping away spiteful and determined in that 'so heavy it's light' way so beloved of later eighties Sonic Youth. "Hector" sounds like a retort to Wavves' ubiquitous "So Bored" as devised by a psychotic somehow embedded in Her Majesty's Government, while "No No Mr Greenspan" weaves and twists back on itself like the recurring dream of a frustrated robot contortionist. Both are ferrous and fucked and dangerous and arrive on the Weird You seven-track tape LP, Londoner Tom Watson's debut issued next month by Murietta's fantastic Family Time Records.
Sounds Like: Sonic Youth, Wavves, Young Marble Giants
