DOWNLOAD: Ice Palace - Thoughts/Facts

When indie rock dudes with guitars and good songs sing nasally and fried–testing those off-key waters but never really going in–our ears can't help but melt like butter. This condition started with the purchase of a Dinosaur Jr. album a long time ago and will likely never fade, so it's nice to hear bands like Minneapolis quintet Ice Palace do that thing that gets us good. On Tuesday, the group released their second album, Wonder Subtly Crushing Us, which they're celebrating tonight with a show at the Varsity Theater in their hometown. "Thoughts/Facts" is on there in its proper context, but we're enjoying its lazy day anthem status just fine solo.
Sounds like: Blood Meridian, Dinosaur Jr., Ladyhawk
