Initially conceived for a one-off take on T-Pain's "Can't Believe It," Telephoned is the new collaboration between DJ/producer Sammy Bananas (Fool's Gold) and singer/party-starter Maggie Horn (Good Peoples). Eschewing traditional remix and cover routes, the pair build original dancefloor versions of contemporary pop hits, often using little more than a chorus phrase from the original. "Pop Champagne" is their follow-up to "Can't Believe It," an addictive, driving electro take on the Ron Browz auto-tune smash.
