Major Lazer weren't the only ones cooking up special business for Monday's "holiday"; Brooklyn's nuttiest, noisiest avant-metal trio, Knyfe Hyts, also blew some clogged minds on Monday morning when their new single ""Screming Lov b/w We Go Wanderin" was posted on Pukekos. The first release on Pukekos founder BJ Rubin's new label Dick Move, the single is strictly limited to 100 hand-pressed-and-stamped 12" copies that were sold exclusively at the Brooklyn release show that night. For those who weren't there (most people), the music is also available for free download at Pukekos for the first 100 hours since being posted, which gives you around 42 or so more hours to go pick it up. Unavailable on the vinyl but available digitally is this remix from These Are Powers drummer Brenmar, who miraculously unearthed some catchy melodies from the A-Side and turned out a very good and wacky electronic pop song in turn.
