Like a proper aughties floor filler, Tiga has his paws spread over many endeavors, bouncing from prolific remixing gigs to running his label (our partners at Turbo) and collaborating on music with friends, like he does with Zombie Nation as ZZT. Busy dude! Lately, though, he's focused on completing Ciao!, his new LP for Last Gang and follow-up to his Juno-winning 2007 debut, Sexor. If Wikipedia is to be believed (it's not, but this is some intriguing intel) Ciao! is one collabo-heavy record, with Soulwax, James Murphy, Jake Shears, and Gonzales, among others, popping in for guest appearances or co-production slots. "Shoes" is the first single, a posturing call-and-response cut with the slipperiest tentacle of a bassline we've heard in ages. It also features Tiga singing the line "I'd love to do those nails," which is not something you hear every day.
