Remember this name: La Roux. Let it slide off your tongue and slink onto the dance floor. La Roux is harnessed by the glacial voice of 21-year-old red-haired sprite Elly Jackson. Ms. Jackson could have been lead in the church choir but thankfully the dance gods got to her first. Backing her, synth-soundmaster Ben Langmaid suspends beats in air and then lets them drop and shatter into gutsy, scintillating 80s-esque synth shards on the dance floor. We'd recommend you stream this Mad Decent remix loud and download Skream's excellent "In For The Kill" remix quick, because based on these tracks (and the fact La Roux is signed to Universal/Polydor (think, um, Lady Gaga), we'd put money down that this London electro synth-pop duo's tracks will radiate through clubs internationally this summer.
