More sunshine house sounds from Australia's Bang Gang 12-Inches, this time as a track from Melbourne's Damn Arms. Originally formed as a four-piece, the group slimmed down to a duo over the past year and released their two-part "yacht house" odyssey, "Destination," through the BG imprint in January (available on wax at Juno and digitally at Beatport.) Like hearing pitched-down Daft Punk on a deserted riviera, "Destination" is full of pillowy synth pads beating major chords and teasing flute flourishes snaked in between. Yes, seriously, there is some Ian Anderson-worthy flute action going on here.
