EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Mexican Institute of Sound - Alocatel (Ad Rock of the Beastie Boys Remix)

Ever wonder what Adam Horowitz does when not touring with Beastie Boys or dating 80s icons like Molly Ringwald and Ione Syke? He carves beats under his pseudonym Ad Rock (you may have heard his remix for M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes".) Therefore, for his buddy Mexico City-based DJ and producer Camilo Lara of Mexican Institute of Sound's new album, Ad Rock remixed the track "Alocatel" as a sweet bonus track. The remix includes Horowitz giving an NYC and Mexico City shout-out before unleashing deep, vibrating bass and synth swirls over rolling Spanish rap.

Mexican Institute of Sound's new album is humorously called Soy Sauce and due out April 7th. If you are heading to Coachella this year, MIS, who craftily mixes of cumbia, mariachi, and electronica, will go perfectly with the palm tree backdrop at Coachella so check out MIS in the desert if you can.

Sounds Like: Nortec Collective, Pacha Massive, Beastie Boys
