Although Joachim Spieth's productions trend towards the minimal side of techno, his ambitions are anything but. Since the Stuttgart native became Kompakt's first artist from outside Cologne, Spieth has kept quite busy between producing and remixing, hosting a show on Proton Radio and starting his own label, Affin. And as you'll hear in "Connect" and "Ich," having a full plate has only sharpened Spieth's production skills: The former throbs warmly as beads of melody dot the skyline; the latter offers a deeper pool of tone color to get wade in while dodging glitchy hi-hats. Let Joachim Spieth provide the soundtrack to your staying busy.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the MP3 download link for Ich seems to be broken.
