Anya Marina looks like a sweet-as-pie, blond California girl (it helps she currently resides in San Diego and has waittressed, disc jockeyed, and followed her dreams up and down the Cali coast). Good thing looks can be deceiving. Just when you get comfortable to sink in to daydreamy, acoustic folk in "Move You," Anya Marina turns the volume up, speeds up the beat, and shocks you with sassy attitude. Think of her as a poppier, less electronic-sounding version of Lykke Li or a fiercer sister to folky Sia. Plus, I'd bet she'd sock Lily Allen to the floor if given the chance. Go chick, go.
