Though we are often skeptical of "dance bands," we've been enticed by the LA-based Casxio's infectious dance jams for a while now. Like a funkier West Coast version of the Scissor Sisters, their jams fall just shy of cheesy- and make up for it in fun factor, synth and the perfect amount of cowbell. Meanwhile, while traipsing the streets of Austin, TX, we've noticed their Lolita-lollipop posters all over the place. So it seems karma is telling us to see them perform this week. After all, after a day of sun, free drinks, and wicked jams, there's no better way to close off the night than by grooving Studio 54-style to disco-charged stunners like this track Seventeen.
