One of the best things about SXSW is that you get to see foreign bands who might not have enough juice to tour the States, all concentrated in one place. Norwegian purveyors of aggressive shoegaze, Simon Says No!, are one of those bands and Austin is your best chance to check out these geniuses of gorgeous grungey fuzz. "Sleeping Heart" is from their EP Ahoi de Angst, 18 minutes of propulsive, booming, swirling noise that pays as much homage to Slowdive as it does to cleverly memorable melody lines. One gets the feeling that this is a band that needs to be fully realized live, albeit with some strong ear plugs. Grab this MP3 and find out what happens when Oasis meets My Bloody Valentine.
