DOWNLOAD: The Electric City - Rapture
First off, we are selfishly, boorishly, and emphatically going to mention that The Electric City was personally asked to open for The Who while they were still unsigned. For those of you familiar with the band, that's probably the 147th time you've heard that fact but it does not detract from its potency. That said, these buzz-heavy Brit rockers, currently working on a new album with a production team at Xenomania, are set to invade Austin this week. What to expect? Breathy intent vocals, 80's power synths, demonic bass, scuzzy rock guitar licks and punchy disco-dirty builds.
