EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Chris Cornell - Part Of Me (Steve Aoki Remix)

To be fair, it's a little weird for us to hear the dude who wailed on "Hunger Strike" and fronted Soundgarden singing over the slumping bounce of Timbaland toms, but if there is one thing we've learned in the 2000s it's that after Audioslave anything is possible. Yes, Chris Cornell's new Timbo-produced record, Scream, hit stores on Tuesday, and we're already seeing the single "Part Of Me" getting remix treatment from producers. Our friend and Dim Mak boss Steve Aoki sent over a version he cooked up, a really effective peak-time electro-house monster that pairs a much quicker 4/4 oomph with glassy, retro synths and big, Ibiza-ready releases. It has to be really daunting opening up a Timbaland remix kit, but Steve ably works his own jetsetting main room energy into the track to pretty great results, and we're very stoked to be premiering today. Be sure to come back over the next couple weeks, we've got a few more versions of the tune set to drop.

Sounds like: Swedish House Mafia, ZZT, The Bloody Beetroots
