As Kid Sister puts the finishing touches on her looooooong awaited LP, the folks at Fool's Gold decided to drop a treat especially for all the record spinners out there who were her earliest supporters - an official single for album cut "Get Fresh" exclusively on vinyl and online DJ hub Beatport (buy it here). It comes complete with brand new remixes courtesy of electro titan Zombie Nation (who's "Lower State Of Consciousness" as ZZT provided sample fodder for the original) as well as French club hero Alex Gopher, who whipped up an awesomely uptempo mix you can download gratuite right here. Gopher's rework has already become a favorite of BBC jocks like Annie Mac, and is sure to light up DJ sets all throughout Winter Music Conference and SXSW, where you can conveniently catch Kid Sister performing live every night of the fest (dates at her MySpace), including the late night "Fool's Gold After Dark" party next Thursday (3/19), featuring KS alongside the entire label roster and some very special guests.
