By now you've probably heard, that awesome band of San Diego punks The Muslims changed their name to the far less head-turning The Soft Pack. We're over it already, which is convenient because tomorrow their new label, Kemado, is re-releasing their vinyl-only debut EP through digital retailers. It doesn't have bullet holes in it or anything but it's still pretty great. A few acoustic songs are floating around, including a new jam called "Red Headed Girl" that speaks gold of the new record we assume is currently being assembled. We're not usually into punk bands doing the acoustic thing, but because these guys sound like busking Jonathan Richman types they are transporting us to a boardwalk ten Sundays from now and we are into that.
