EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Art Brut - Just Desserts
.jpg)
Art Brut's new, Frank Black-produced album, Art Brut Vs. Satan, drops May 12 through Downtown, but "Just Desserts" won't be on it. The track, drawn from the same "punk-as-fuck" sessions the band did with Black for the record, didn't quite make the tracklist, which isn't to say that its three and a half minutes of simplified, serrated guitars and abundant dessert jokes from indie rock's best non-singer Eddie Argos aren't worth your time. Even if you hate Art Brut, this might be the only instance that the word "patisserie" has snuck into a punk song and, dammit, we are INTO THAT. The tune is available exclusive here at RCRD LBL for one week, so pick it up now and then go smash your face into some crème brulée or something.
Sounds like: The Buzzcocks, Matt And Kim, Vivian Girls
