KRAUT PUNK! If that definition fires you up, you're going to flip over Paper. Based off "the frustration of punk, the desperation of monotony and the delicacy of pop melody," Paper is generating buzz while bursting eardrums in Sweden (as quoted from our buddy Bjorn Yittling of Peter, Bjorn and John: "If you don't like PAPER, I really can´t take you seriously.") Here's two exclusives to relish: "Out of It Into It" pounds your ears with head-pulsing punk and gritty, dank basement-bred riffs. In contrast, "Ideal Plane" is a vaporous, lofty pop melody built off of a steady bass line.
Psst Look out for their 3-day residency at NYC's Cakeshop in March.
