DOWNLOAD: Bricolage - Turn U Over

In the wake of Touch & Go's downsizing, it's great to see a recently-revived label like Slumberland hit their stride. In the past year, they've put out both that fabulous Crystal Stilts LP and the Best New Music-nabbing album from The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, among others. Next in line for their magic touch is Glasglow quartet Bricolage, a band Pitchfork thinks sound like Orange Juice, but don't really aside from the fact that they are a Scottish pop band and thus owe a lot of respect to the Juice. I think they sound more like The Jam or The Kinks since they have beefier guitars and faster tempos, but hey, that's just me. Plenty of "shoops," a hint of Scottish brogue, and more than enough fun. The self-titled album drops in May.
Sounds like: The Jam, The Kooks, Howlies
