While winter winds down up here in the Northern hemisphere, so it goes for summer on the other side of the equator, where party-goers are no doubt relishing those last jumpoffs that stretch a little longer and bump a little louder in the face of a half-year's wait for warmth. Enter "Serio," the new single from Sydney quartet Lost Valentinos, a gorgeous bit of carnal rain dance rhythms and impossibly layered vocals. The single is available now through Aussie imprint Etcetc and came tipped from our friend and DJ-about-town Jacques Renault, who contributed his own metallic house dub to the release. Saddled up next to him on the flip is a DFA-inspired reworking from Sydney producer Knife Machine. The best part? We've got these three versions available for download. Consider yourself warmed.
