VIDEO THRWBCK: Busta Rhymes ft. Kelis - What It Is (2001)
For the longest time Busta Rhymes was the most reliable rapper when it came to making endlessly entertaining videos. "What It Is" finds Busta approaching the edge of his creativity bubble (which has since popped), forgoing his favorite fish-eye lens to be cloned and whipped around in a setting that is so 2001 (check out the headset mic). The video ends with, what I think is, another anachronism: a short prologue video by N.O.R.E. I wish more rappers had the creativity to push their videos this far.
