DOWNLOAD: Blackbelt Andersen - Sandoz (Edit)

If you must embrace the lessons of the past to be ready for the future, Blackbelt Andersen is well equipped for what comes next. Like his countrymen Lindstrom and Prins Thomas (whose label, Full Pupp, hosts many Blackbelt releases), the Norwegian producer's low slung bass riffs, vintage sounding array of synths and space exploring motifs are steeped in the retro futurism pioneered by Italo disco artists. His self-titled debut album brings the funk with tracks like "Sandoz," a rubbery, bongo-dappled drift through the galaxy lit by neon colored melodies.

Sounds like: Prins Thomas, Lindstrom
