Brazilian electro mastermind Gui Boratto's track, "Take My Breath Away," is like aural ice cream with ecstasy shavings on top. Sweet, creamy, and warmly chilling, its first pulsing beat effortlessly hacks into your conscience, while layers of synth weave, multiply, and then deconstruct around it. All you can do is sit back tongue-tied and satiated. Needless to say, we've got our Google Calendars set on alert for when Boratto’s new album, Take My Breath Away, releases via Kompakt digitally February 23rd and in stores March 3rd.
