VIDEO THRWBCK - Liverpool Tube Station Silent Disco

A week before Feb 6th, a young Londoner named Crazzy Eve invited his friends on Facebook to attend a silent disco at the Liverpool Tube Station in London. Depending what rock you've been living under, you heard about the effect: somehow, word metastasized through the social webs of Facebook and 13,000 people showed up (not to mention one person stripped and a riot ensued after wards) in the station on Feb 6th, 2009.

Now in the calm after the storm, rumor has spread that the event was secretly organized by Saatchi & Saatch in order to promote T-Mobile  (as they've done similar ads, with the message that 'some things in life are worth sharing.') Which means CrazyEve is probably a thirty-year-old ad agent posing as a 21 year old. However, CNN maintains the stunt was an innocent citizen's retort to the T-Mobile ad campaign. Regardless, this video is pretty freaking phenomenal: probably the loudest silent disco ever, eh?
