Every song on Voxhaul Broadcast's debut EP Rotten Apples was recorded one sunny day in June. Listening to "The Echo" and "Why Not?" instantly transports, from a gray room washed in artificial light to the Voxhaul Broadcast recording session in Orange County - bright, warm and lackadaisical, full of tambourines and promises of cold beers and a BBQ as soon as the surf-filled tracks are perfectly laid down.
