"Young San Francisco" is the lead single from Candy Cigarette, the new album from bedroom pop twosome Boy In Static due April 14th through Fake Four Inc. Working with some toy piano and taught violins, dudes put up a recession-deying pop jawn with this one, something like Patrick Wolf without the flare of hot pants. On the exclusive tip, Montreal producer Montag reworked the song into a Human League-biting synth track, shrills and arpeggiated bass dropped wherever needed (everywhere). Grab both tracks below, and lookout for the single release today, backed with additional remixes from Styrofoam and Miwon Sankt.
