Since the death of Lux Interior earlier this week, people from all over the world have been telling their own story about the Cramps.  The first time they bought/stole a Cramps record or the first time they saw them live, and nearly every epitaph for Lux begins with a "I saw the Cramps on this date and it changed everything."  I lived in NYC from 99-08 and was lucky enough to experience the Cramps a handful of times and you can feel the sweaty, groping hands of Lux and Poison Ivy on the bands that carry the torch for sexy dirty rock today.  Lux Interior seduced and growled, hurled himself full-force (in heels) into rock & roll and, if the "Like A Bad Girl Should" video is any indication, was one hell of a hubby.  RIP LAMF Lux.
