Yesterday, Rush, the debut album from New York duo Black Gold, hit stores through the record label arm of Red Bull, led by a catchy lead single called "Plans & Reveries." That tune got a nice-looking video--viewable here--as well as a once-over from London-Paris tweelectro group The Teenagers, who added their usual mix of Casio softsynths and single-note Telecaster riffs to the equation. It's like aural Downy!

Before heading out on tour with Lydia in a week or so, Black Gold plays tomorrow (2/5) in New York at some snowboard thing going down near the East River. Anthrax and Valient Thorr round out the bill. We could not even make that kind of thing up.
