Black Swan Green is a band from Brooklyn that straddles that magic line between psychedelic and shoegaze: employing the unleashed power of the later with the swirling guitar and droning warmth of the former.  Practicing their surges of sound in an abandoned rifle range, the band put together their first LP the ruin gaze..., full of multi-layered guitars and reverb in all the right places and from which these 2 songs are lifted.  They join their like-minded Brooklyn brethren My Best Fiend and the Morning After Girls tonight at the Mercury Lounge.  Check the RCRD LBL preview here and as Sam says, bring your ear plugs.
