Lithops is the solo project from Jan St. Werner, one half of electronic careerists Mouse on Mars. The songs on YE VIOLS! were originally composed as soundtracks for installations, and you can trace their lineage back through Brian Eno's ambient works in the last half of the '70s. "Handed" is an analog pep rally that runs circles around your ears and works amazingly well in both the back and foreground. Extra bonus: googling "lithops" will yield a wealth of information about "cheeky fat little succulent plants".
