EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: The Appleseed Cast - As The Little Things Go

When I first heard the term "shoegaze" it seemed like the coolest combination of words ever, and I even wrote it on my knuckles tattoo-style ala "love" and "hate". That was a terrible idea, but the combination of guitars, pedals and drowsy moptopped youth watching their feet is still rife with possibilities two decades later, as evidenced by bands like The Appleseed Cast. The Lawrence, KS post-emo grads are dropping their sixth album Sagarmatha next month, and this whale of a track gives us a good idea of what to expect. Its pretty, its spacious, its instrumental and then its not, when heavily altered vocals surface near the end like the last transmissions over a wireless radio.
