EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Miike Snow - Animal (Crookers Remix)
While info on who exactly Miike Snow is/are remains nonexistent, we're still seeing some heavyweight remixes of their tune "Animal" come in, like this fantastic version from wobbly Italo house men Crookers. Instead of playing laser tag with their synth plug-ins as usual, Phra and Bot actually keep things pretty civilized here, wrapping that falsetto hook in layers of bubbly, pitched-down tom hits (no snares!), the faintest trace of Bmore hi-hats, and an octave-jumping synth that sounds like it's plunging the depths of the Caribbean. It could quite possibly be the most surprising--and best--Crookers production since "Embrace The Martian," their other duet with Kid Cudi, so hit the link below to grab this fantastic dancehall/house love child and check back next week for another remix of the elusive Mr. Snow.
