EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Adam Green - Rich Kids

Tags: blues, acoustic

These days, Adam Green's solo forays are highly concentrated slap-stick comedic acoustic blues with Seinfeldian lyrics about nothing and everything. Live, he's forsaken his Moldy Peaches Robin Hood get-up for tight jeans and loose t-shirts, (though he's still ready to crowd-surf mid-song and cause crowd sing-alongs.) Thus, by now, if you don't love him, you probably hate him- even though you can be quite sure he doesn't give a damn. Since we tend toward the former, we're bringing you "Rich Kids," where Green laments about life and Codeine with the tonality of a burnt-out bluesed-out uncle of Nick Cave.

PS If any of you Adam Green-iacs wants to better understand the inner-lair of Adam Green (or fancy pictures of a "nuttsahk of a kangerooh' (they are bigger than you may think)), scoot over to his blog or "blogge" The Lakeroom

Sounds Like: Nick Cave, Kevin Ayers, Tom Waits, Don Cherry
