VIDEO THRWBCK: The Pack - Vans (2006)
Despite a deal with Jive and some support from a pre-Carter III Lil Wayne, The Pack never really took off aside from this song, my not-so-secret anthem of early 2007. "Vans" gave legions of skaters a reason to do funny dances and brag about shoes other than Nikes, but in the video The Pack struggle to play hard and seem old, like college freshmen flossing fake IDs or Bow Wow before he dropped the "Lil". It's uncomfortable at points, but Young L's beat still kills it without even a semblance of a melody.
