VIDEO THRWBCK: The Outfield - Your Love (1986)
On Friday night at Brooklyn's Music Hall Of Williamsburg, Bon Iver played a killer slowed-down cover of this song, which reached number nine on the US singles charts in 1986. I spent the rest of the weekend replaying this video around ten or twenty times, mostly for the awesome melody but also because of these dudes' mullets and spandex and headless Steinberger guitars. Also the "video within a video shoot" concept still lives on, thanks to ESPN The Mag's best blogger.
