EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Men And Women - Flowing Blood + South America (Cousin Cole Remix)

The loose, stoney tunes on Men And Women's South America EP have been called "weirdo dub" and "trance-inducing left field disco," neither of which are incorrect but still don't touch on the songs' general endlessness. Of the two originals on Brooklyn producers Jamie Granato and Brad Frost's debut, "Flowing Blood" is the briefer, a stroll through orchards of Echoplexed guitars and churning dime-store samplers that never changes its arrangement over seven minutes and doesn't need to; the constant barrage of psychedelic meadow music is plenty awesome as it is. Perhaps to balance out the headier A-Side with some actual dancefloor material, the two reached out to friends Cousin Cole and Elliot Lipp to remix the title track for the flip, and we've got Cole's monster bass-heavy reworking up for download as well. Pick up the full EP digitally over at Turntable Lab, and if you want to lose yourself in this stuff in person (like us), Men And Women will play at NYC's Knitting Factory on Sunday with Pajo and the Cake Shop in January with Ducktails.
Sounds like: El Guincho, Elliot Lipp, Praveen & Benoit
