For our one-year anniversary, we reached out to some of the people and artists that we work to ask them to create a playlist of tunes from our catalog. We got some great ones back, and we'll be posting them throughout the rest of the week. As always, these are embeddable on other blogs, websites, etc. so share them around and stay tuned for more.
Today we've got a playlist from RCRD LBL band Meanest Man Contest, who soon will be compiling a mix/playlist of sorts from our catalog to soundtrack Tim Molloy's new novel How To Break Bad News. The guys shot over a (very flattering) little note with their list, so we'll let them take it from here:
"Happy bday, RCRD LBL! You, fine sirs and ma'ams, have been killing it daily throughout the last 365+ with nothing but megahits from across the spectrum of rad music. Here are 12 of our favorite songs that have appeared on the site over the last year. Keep 'em coming!"
