Welcome to the final installment from Sneakmove Minicomp.  For the lowdown on what's come before and all the info on the project, listen to the 60 second wonders from Volume 1 and Volume 2.  In Volume 3, we've got a whole new batch of brilliant brevity curated with care by none other than Bomarr of Restiform Bodies.  Listen to delicate static from Shayne Keator, indie Rhodes piano crooning from Back Ted N-Ted, thick electronic manipulation from Principles of Geometry, seductive rainbow cooing from Coppe, Brit-tinged kooky acoustic folk from Tunng, chugging big-band deception from Otis Fodder, video-game blippery from Copy, dirty spunky electro from Lord Grunge and Superargo rounding out the comp with bleeps, wheerps, heys! and breakneck pinball turn-arounds.  Grab all 3 comps for a solid 30 minutes of 29 schizo tunes, proudly presented by Sneakmove and RCRD LBL.

Otis Fodder is great but

Otis Fodder is great but also a little bit derivative, I mean isn't what he's doing simply a blatant rip-off of classic producers like Prince Paul and classic groups like The Beastie Boys and isn't it a little bit "late in the game" to be putting out sample-based dance music (Otis Fodders, which is un-danceable by the way) when most real musicians in the world have reached the conclusion that "real time" instruments (guitar, real piano, real percussion) are truly where it's at...nothing like a REAL jingle jangle tambourine!

The Hip Hop ethic truly died a sad death in the early 90s with the advent of crappy Gangsta Rap and to see Otis Fodder treading the same water as reductive artists such as STEREOLAB and (dare I say?) KRAFTWERK is disheartening to say the least.

SAMPLING? IN 2009?? COME ON!

thanks! Great mini-comp!

Sho Nuff Polly. I liked

Sho Nuff Polly. I liked Otis Fodder's 20 album boxset released in 1980 but anything after 1981 is totally lame-o.

wow polly, you're a bitch

I agree with the first post

I agree with the first post (Pollywannakacker) Gangsta rap is nothing if not completely negative an electro-dnce music peeked in the 70s with New Order and Kraftwork - sampling peeked in the 80s with the use of Casio 5 mini-sample (only $100) and its plane that anyone who samples too much cant' play an instruments or write songs

this is the first OFodder song i have heard bit its good oK but I would not like to here more. defnitely wont buy it or album
