Jacob C. Morris' s shit-kicking bedroom anthems are just sticky enough to not sound ironic, which is hard when you're dealing in power chords and Camaro melodies. In addition to touring with Ratatat, Morris cut his teeth in NYC band The Double (they were signed to Matador, you guys) and just signed to RCRD LBL under his own name, releasing the grizzly pop nuggets "Dark Matter" and "The Best Of Time," as his first two singles this morning.
