DOWNLOAD: Zero Boys - Civilization Is Dying + Living In The 80s

Bloomington, Indiana's Zero Boys were one of the finest forgotten punk bands of the early eighties. Their one and only long player, 1982's Vicious Circle, sported a banana yellow sleeve and sounded like four kids who had beaten The Misfits at their own game of proto-pop-punk genius: writing fantastic three-chord, rock-star-indicting songs that barely broke the two-minute mark. The fellow Bloomington natives at Secretly Candaian are giving the band the anthology treatement in January when they release remastered versions of Vicious Circle and History Of, a collection of the group's non-album recordings. Two tracks from the discs--the anthemic coastal hardcore "Civilization Is Dying" or the slower Cramps-like "Living In The '80s"--are available below.
Sounds like: The Bronx, The Misfits, The Buzzcocks
