Over at their RCRD LBL blog, our friends at Paper Bag have posted a track from FemBots’ debut album Mucho Cuidado, a record the band recorded themselves using random stuff lying around their home studio—power tools, toys, thrift store instruments, whatever. The tune—"Ice Cream”—is a pretty solid lo-fi country song, like Son Volt playing Sugar covers in a barn with more blues harp. The PBR folks are offering a pretty well-priced combo deal for the first three FemBots records, so if you like what you hear head over to their store to pick that up.
