Joint is tight, I don't care where the beat came from. I ain't heard it yet. Not to mention that Mos did it justice, that is what is important. It ain't like he "Lil Kim'd" the joint.

This is such a cool song. Life In Marvelous Times dude! He is so right about that. Despite all the negativity, life is so great. I've always been a Mos Def fan. When i hear this song, Obama and this important election comes to my head. Get out there and vote. Do the right thing.

whatever, mos def is tired and played out. He should do a collaboration with Kook Keith, seems like they're both destined to make mediocre music after dropping legendary releases. I'm all about forward movement, but please, how do you go from Blackstar and Black on Both Sides to the garbage he's been putting out for years now. I'm a bigger fan of his acting now then of his music.

i have had the opportunity to do some studio work on this record and i can tell you that this track (or at least the instrumental) stands out from the rest of the album. The album is big (like 18 tracks), and most of them carry a more organic, Madlib-esque vibe; none nearly as electronic as this Mr Flash joint. Trust me, the rest of the album is off the hook and will impress a lot of people. Spaced out and quintessential Mos Def.

well this Mr.Anonymous better be right.....
and just to clarify..... I never said the track was BAD...was just just so eager to hear a new MosDef track (as the last album wasn't exactly...um.....good.) so to then hear an instrumental that was already used by another French group (TTC) now used by him? i dunno, the track is "dope" but com'on.....get some original beats, mang..... feel me?

I found this track through a newsletter from Ed Banger records and they said I should check out the new MOS DEF single 'Life In Marvelous Time' produced by MR FLASH. Produced... Nuff said.
Awesome track btw.

Yeh I also got that newsletter. Does sound very Mr Flashy, but I do prefer Mos Def (Mr Flash was always one of the weaker Ed Banger artists...I prefer SebastiAn, or Mr Oizo). Nice track, hope he doesn't do a Kanye though, that would be shiiit.

Mos does it again. It's mos definitely time to get back to social commentary in music. This track reminds of a video I recently saw on youtube by a group called Aqua Island.
