Not too long ago I made the huge mistake of letting a girl convince me that track was it. We were in junior high and at that time I guess I was willing to run sprints, miles and more sprints just so I could hang out with her everyday after school. We'd even have something to talk about. But besides constantly wondering why I was out there, I do distinctly remember wanting to run middle distance more than anything. This is where I segue smoothly into a riff on DC's Middle Distance Runner, a five piece that loves five ton choruses and codas.
