POP MONTREAL DOWNLOAD: Crystal Moustaches - Zombie Hears
A select pose of uber-cool-yet-subtle New Yorkers, the ones who subscribe to living off ramen so they can buy paints, reading patterns in smoke signals, and co-habiting Brooklyn studios commune-style (the ones that have the Ryokan-style policy you can't wear shoes inside?), made their way via mini-van and plane to Toronto this weekend to take part in the uber-cool-yet-subtle kick ass Pop Montreal Festival. Rumor is the festival is cooler than SXSW, CMJ, and Coachella combined.
The luckiest of the RCRD LBL clan were there representing and through people taking to people who went to bars and talked to people who browsed the internet, we found out about Crystal Moustaches. This track "Zombie Hearts" has a sexy, deep The Doors psychadelic sound. Or as they say, they are the "unmoved movers of love sound." It's good juice.
