DOWNLOAD: UNKLE - Hold My Hand (Innervisions Orchestra Remix)

Innervisions Orchestra is more a house music super group than a proper orchestra, but their love for dramatic symphonic elements helps the name fit. Composed of organic deep-house producer Henrik Schwarz, consummate remixer and Innervisions labelhead Dixon, and Innervisions' flagship artists, Âme, the group seems to exist solely to remix UNKLE. Their first effort was an ambitious rework of "Crocodile," now followed by the oft-remixed "Hold My Hand." Therein, UNKLE's cooed vocals are surrounded by sharp synth and string interplay, brushed to refinement with constant ride cymbals and brought to a pulse-quickening climax by the confluence of all three. Âme asserted that Innervisions Orchestra is currently defunct in a recent interview, but this remix is a good way to cap a short career.
