We've told you about The Blacks before. The San Francisco/New York trio specialize in diner-cool surf rock for the goth set, crafting songs around the black hole guitar sound of frontwoman Luisa Black, drummer Gavin Black, and tambourine player (seriously?) JDK Blacker. They’re basically like a couple homemade tattoos and a badass bass player away from sounding like X covering Autolux. We’ve just signed the band to RCRD LBL and are pumped to offer the cascading youth summer anthems “Ammunition” and “Gravitas” for download today.
