Psych-jazz instrumentalists Artanker Convoy are playing some shows this week in New York City, beginning Saturday (September 13) at Cake Shop on Ludlow St. alongside San Francisco’s Tussle and again on Monday (September 15) at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg with A Place To Bury Strangers, Sian Alice Group and Amazing Baby. Expect lots of noodling, scorched ear drums, and maybe a rain dance or two. Our bros in the Convoy must have some similar tastes and friends that we do, as you can find tracks from every band they’re playing with this week alongside their own below. SYNERGY, dudes.
