They fought the law and the law won? The last time we mentioned the band "The Shaky Hands," it was in reference a legal battle. A frenetic NZ rock band, now called "Cut Off Your Hands," had named themselves "The Shaky Hands" but were forced to change their names because of this Oregon band. At the time, we didn't know much about the original "The Shaky Hands." These days, we consider ourselves lucky that we do. They oscillate from more folky, Sufjan Steven-esque chilled out tunes like "Summer's Life" to more psychedelic-tinged riffs- while also delving in more hook-based rock songs like "We Are Young." The later, available below, is coated with shoe-gazy guitar chords and lathered with slurring vocals ala The Rakes.
