"Id Engager" is the lead single from of Montreal's forthcoming LP and boy oh boy is this baby a steaming hot slice of disco-pop pie. Do you like disco-pop pie? (How many times can one ask that question before it gets creepy? Answer: four or five) Even if you don't, "Id Engager" seems enough to both convert and hold you over until Skeleton Lamping arrives in October.
And for those of you that get a kick out out of Kevin Barnes and thought he was bananas before, well, you can rest assured that the ante has been upped considerably.
