Ghostly At Decibel '08

Posted 7/25/2008 8:03 AM by ghostly

Decibel is one of our favorite electronic music festivals: a four-day blowout in Seattle's Capitol Hill featuring cutting-edge visual art and new media, panel discussions and workshops, and every kind of electronic music under the Pacific Northwestern (and Midwestern, and European) sun.

For this year's Decibel Fest, Ghostly presents live sets from four of our finest: otherworldly San Francisco downtempo producer Tycho (making his Seattle debut); LA's atmospheric breakbeat artist Deru; Seattle's own abstract rhythm-butcher Lusine; and recent Ghostly signee The Sight Below – another Seattle local – debuting his live PA of dark beats and filtered guitars. It all goes down in the Baltic Room's swank, cherry-paneled interior.

Sooooo incredibly excited

Sooooo incredibly excited for this year's Decibel Festival. Tycho will definitely be a highlight (not to miss). If you haven't heard, the line up this year is ridiculous (i.e. Carl Craig, Deadmau5, Flying Lotus, Glitch Mob, Jahcoozi, Audion, Jeff Samuel, Luca Bacchetti, Dixon, Tujiko Noriko, KiloWatts, [a]pendics.shuffle, William Basinski, Deaf Center, Mike Monday, Library Tapes, Burnt Friedman, Eskmo, Stewart Walker, LA Riots.....the list goes on)
